My husband and I live in Northern Lower Michigan (Wellston), and I hear The Beacon on 92.9 The Breeze in Cadillac.  I have also encouraged them to maintain the program.  We do have some Christian pop stations in the area; what I like most about The Beacon is the concept of reaching people who would not listen to a "Christian" station.  That is perhaps the MOST important thing you are doing.  Take care.  God bless you.

Mr. Harris, I wanted to drop you a line and let you know how much I enjoy listening to the Beacon archives.  I am listening now as I work.  I work at oil rigs in either in Alaska or California and sit in a little modular unit in front of a computer, usually by myself.  It is nice to be able to listen to contemporary music and hear uplifting messages while I work.  Sometimes it can be hard to find or see Christ here at a dirty oil rig, with all the guys cussing.  I try to stay focused on Christ and not let all the negativity get me down.  Your program helps me do that.

I'm a 44 year old, married woman. I was just diagnosed late last year, with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder due to the tragic deaths of my 2 small children. My daughter was 2 yrs. old and my son, only 7 months, they were killed in a mobile home fire. The 20th anniversary of their passing is this coming September. I love listening to your show on Sunday mornings, I don't go to church, but I truly do believe there is a God, and your show, in a sense is somewhat spiritual to me.
